When your avocation is your vocation, you’re always on vacation.

I would rather have peace of mind than give someone a piece of my mind.

God who is not material is “visible” in all things.

Mysticism is non-nihilistic negativity or – all there is is God.

Consciousness is something and nothing.

Solitary mystic’s are the most connected of individuals.

Those who cease to be individuals gain their independence.

The best way to get somewhere is to let go of the need to be anywhere.

The less I mess with the world the less it messes with me.

Whatever path you choose, you have to work it so it can work you.

I would rather say, “I’m not enlightened” and be wrong about that than to say, “I am enlightened” and be wrong about that.

Keep learning as though there is no tomorrow because --  there is no tomorrow.

You can only get there by being here.

Look at the world without adding anything to it.

In order to see, close your eyes.

Do you want to hit back or sit back?

There is no other Will than His which is our own.

Mysticism is the undoing of doing and the doing of undoing.

Not needing to exist, we become aware of the whole of existence.

Ceasing to be an individual, one gains independence.  

If we can get the mind to be still - we see.  We always have been. We always will be.

Mysticism is quite natural. In fact, it is the most natural thing of all.

It's all about matter and it doesn't matter at all.

Perfect vision does not see sin. It cannot see what is not there.

The most important thing is to be sure that the most important thing is the most important thing.

A study of history shows -- that the ego always implodes.

St. Francis who was not interested in owning anything loved everything and thereby knew it to it's core.

What do you lose when you lose an illusion?

Time is the ego's way of keeping everything from happening at once.

A happy dream beats a nightmare any day or night.

The only way out is owning up.

Life is neither accidental nor arbitrary. Don't push the river. Let destiny unfold.

Mystics "remember" what they already know.
